Southern Maine Crabs LLC

Southern Maine Crabs buys and sells locally caught seafood, with Jonah crab as its specialty. The company sources from roughly 50 boats along the New England coast, from Tenants Harbor, Maine, down to New Bedford, Massachusetts, and now carries a wide range of fish and shellfish including lobster, scallops, haddock, cod, grey sole, tuna and clams. Retail and wholesale operations are both run from the Kittery facility.

The retail shop is open to the public during regular business hours, and customers are welcome to stop by in person. Wholesale buyers are served separately through their own contact line and email. The business is owned by a woman and was started by its founder nearly five years ago, after a start buying crabs from boats up and down the coast.
