Festina Lente

Festina Lente is an Italian restaurant whose menu changes by season. The current fall menu runs from antipasti like burrata with roasted pears and beef tartare to pastas such as rigatoni all'amatriciana, cacio e pepe alla chitarra and baked cannelloni. Desserts include panna cotta and a cider cake served with cinnamon ice cream, and the ice cream is made in house.

Seating is limited, so the restaurant does not take reservations and guests should plan on walking in. It is open Tuesday through Saturday evenings. The restaurant is on Government Street in Kittery, Maine.
