Maelstrom Brewing Company

Maelstrom Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Kirkland that pours its own beers in a welcoming taproom with patio seating. The brewery also sells to-go orders of its craft beers, and its house-made Maelstrom Root Beer is a non-alcoholic option for the family.

The taproom serves hard ciders from local makers, hard seltzer and two wines on tap, along with locally made hot, soft pretzels with cheese or mustard and a few packaged snacks. Kids are welcome when a parent or guardian stays with them at the table, and well-behaved leashed dogs are allowed. Outside food is permitted. The brewery is at 11014 120th Ave NE, and there is a happy hour with $1 off pints every day after 8 PM. Visitors must be 21 or older to view the website, so expect the taproom to be a beer-focused space.
