Wells Hometown Drug

Wells Hometown Drug is an independent pharmacy that fills prescriptions in house and also sells durable medical equipment, including walkers, crutches, nebulizers, ostomy supplies and diabetic supplies. Alongside a full selection of over-the-counter products, the pharmacy is a member of the Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network, and its staff regularly checks in with patients who have complex medical needs. Owner Mylo Wells opened the first location in Bloomfield in 2018 and added Keosauqua in 2022.

Current customers can request prescription refills online, and new customers can call for quick on-site fills of new prescriptions. Delivery is free within a 25-mile radius, and curbside pick-up is free as well. Keosauqua is one of two locations, the other in Bloomfield, where a walk-in clinic is now open. The pharmacy accepts Medicare and Medicaid for its medical equipment.
