Tula Medical Weight Loss & Wellness is a physician-led weight loss practice run by Dr. Sejal Desai, MD, a trained obesity medicine specialist with a background in family medicine. The practice focuses on root-cause evaluation, including lab work, body composition analysis and a review of medical history, with a particular focus on perimenopause and menopause weight gain.

New patients start with a free 15-minute Meet & Greet at the Katy office. The flagship Tula Transformation is a six-month program with monthly visits, and virtual options and health coaching are available for patients who do not need medication. Medication is never required, and only FDA-approved formulations are prescribed. Tula does not accept insurance but takes major credit cards, FSA and HSA. The office is at 158 Bella Katy Dr. in Katy, and patients must be Texas residents aged 18 or older.
