Smith's Automotive

Smith's Automotive is a full-service auto repair shop in Katy, handling everything from routine maintenance and oil changes to A/C and heating service, brake work, emissions work, suspension service, engine diagnostics and major mechanical repairs. The shop works on a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models, and reviewers often mention straightforward diagnoses and fair prices.

The shop has been open since 2007 and is owned and operated by Brian Smith, who is a University of Houston graduate. Calling ahead is the best way to get on the schedule, since walk-ins depend on current availability, and estimates often need an inspection first. The shop is at 5114 E. 5th St. in Katy.
