Roegels Barbecue Co.

Roegels Barbecue Co. is a veteran-owned Central Texas-style barbecue joint known for brisket, pork ribs and house-made sausage. The meats are seasoned with salt and pepper, smoked low and slow over post oak, and sliced to order. Pitmaster Russell Roegels has more than 30 years of barbecue experience, and the Katy location uses the same pits and recipes as the original Voss Road location.

The Katy spot has a full bar and room for parties and events, and it takes online orders and reservations. Catering and private event planning are available, and Two-Meat Tuesday specials run at lunch. The restaurant is on Katy Freeway in Katy, and it is closed on Mondays.
