Bill Bownds Nursery

Bill Bownds Nursery is a family-owned tree nursery that has supplied trees to the Houston area for more than fifty years. The 15-acre farm grows container trees from 15-gallon to 95-gallon sizes, with a focus on native Houston-area varieties, and staff can help match a tree to a particular yard.

The nursery will deliver, plant, stake and mulch a tree, and it backs the work with a one-year guarantee and no hidden fees. Whether the nursery plants the tree or the customer does, staff give hands-on instruction on planting and care. Gift cards are available, and trees can be given to mark birthdays and anniversaries. The nursery is at 2110 Cedar Lane in Katy and serves Katy, Houston, Richmond and Sugar Land.
