Minsky's Pizza

Minsky's Pizza is a Kansas City pizza restaurant known for fluffy, handmade dough topped with premium meats and vegetables under a layer of Wisconsin mozzarella. Its best-known pies include the Barbecue Chicken Pizza, the Cheeseburger Pizza and the Crab Rangoon Pizza, which joined the regular menu. The business began in Ames, Iowa, and moved to Kansas City in 1976, so 2026 marks its fiftieth year in the city.

Gluten-free options are on the menu, and gift cards are sold. Catering, wedding catering and delivery within a set area are offered, and two private spaces can be reserved by phone, one for up to 50 guests and one for up to 30. The restaurant also hosts Slice of Donation nights, when a share of sales goes to local nonprofits and schools. This location is on Main Street in the City Market area of downtown Kansas City.
