Kansas City Tree Care

Kansas City Tree Care removes, trims and cleans up trees across the Kansas City metro. Full removals are done piece by piece, including trees near roofs and power lines, and the crews grind stumps eight to twelve inches below grade. Dead ash from emerald ash borer is one of its most common removals. The company also offers cabling and bracing, hazardous tree evaluations and storm recovery, with ISA-certified arborists on staff.

Free estimates are offered, and the company says it usually comes out the same day to look at a tree before quoting a price. Emergency crews respond around the clock to fallen trees and storm damage, and they can help with the paperwork insurers need. The business is family-owned, and owner Zach Johnson still bids most jobs himself. Crews carry liability and workers' comp coverage and provide insurance certificates on request. Service reaches both sides of the state line, including Overland Park, Olathe, Lee's Summit and Independence.
