Kean Jersey City

Kean Jersey City is the Jersey City campus of Kean University, a public university founded in 1855. It offers more than 59 undergraduate and 31 graduate programs across business, the sciences, education, and the arts and humanities. The campus is set to begin in July 2026, as the Middle States Commission on Higher Education has advanced the merger of Kean University and New Jersey City University.

The campus sits about 20 minutes from New York City in one of the most diverse cities in the country. Students can live in residence halls on campus, eat at the dining halls and eateries, and get involved in athletics, the arts and student organizations. Eligible students can have up to full tuition and fees covered for their first two years through the Kean Tuition Promise, and admissions counselors are available to talk with prospective students.
