The Original Jerome Winery

The Original Jerome Winery makes estate wines from grapes grown on its family vineyard, Dragoon Mountain Vineyard, near Willcox in southeast Arizona. John McLoughlin began planting the vineyard in 2001, and it now has 158 acres under vine. The lineup includes traditional varietals alongside less common grapes, with deeply aged reds and carefully crafted whites. The winery is known for Arizona's only flight of vintage ports and the only Heritage Zinfandel flight in the state.

This is a family-owned winery in Jerome. McLoughlin walks and inspects the vineyard through each growing season and harvests only when the grapes are ready. The family planted the first vines together and harvested by hand, and the labels feature family photos that reflect that history.
