Volunteer nonprofit supporting the Jeffersonville library211 E. Court, Ave. Jeffersonville, IN
Friends of the JTPL is the volunteer support group for the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, a nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3). It raises money for the library through Friends memberships, donations, Kroger Community Rewards and a bookstore, and the group uses those funds for things like the Summer Reading Program, the Big Read Program, a seed library and staff training days.
The bookstore is on the lower level of the library, reached by the south lobby stairs or the elevator, and it is open the second and fourth Fridays and Saturdays of each month from 10am to 1pm unless otherwise noted. All bookstore proceeds go to the library, and its inventory comes from donations. Gift cards are also offered, and people can donate online or in the bookstore.
