Adrienne and Co. Bakery

Adrienne and Co. Bakery makes custom cakes for weddings and special occasions, along with donuts, cookies, cannoli and morning pastries. Every cake is made to order, with a long list of flavors from classic yellow and red velvet to banana split and German chocolate. The bakery traces its roots to a Niagara Falls kitchen in 1973 and opened its downtown Jeffersonville shop in 2001, where its cakes have won blue ribbons at the Kentucky State Fair.

Wedding cake tastings are free but need a phone call ahead, and cakes tend to book up fast. Donuts are made every morning at the Floyds Knobs location and sold at all locations, and holiday desserts can be ordered online, though they sell out. Gift cards come in $25 to $100 amounts. Monday through Wednesday the shop is open by appointment only and for cake pickups, with walk-in hours Thursday through Saturday.
