The DogMan 157

The DogMan 157 is a dog training business in Monroe Township run by John, a former police K-9 handler who has trained dogs for comfort, hunting, tracking, protection, show, obedience and everyday companion use. Training covers both the dog and the owner, and the program includes group classes, private and in-home sessions, puppy classes for dogs 3.5 to under 6 months, and help with persistent problem behaviors.

Group classes meet in an indoor arena at 49 N. State Home Rd. Current clients who have finished the first two prep sessions can find class times on Facebook, and new students start by contacting the business. Dog walking and in-home boarding are available for current and former clients through an assistant trainer, and boarding can be paired with a Board & Train option. Police families can ask about a discount.
