Gator Carpet and Tile

Gator Carpet and Tile is a family-owned flooring store on Philips Highway in Jacksonville, serving the city and Northeast Florida for more than 30 years. Its core lines are carpet, tile, luxury vinyl plank, hardwood, waterproof flooring, and commercial and marine flooring, with in-stock carpet kept on the roll at the showroom for quick installs. Pricing is quoted all-in, with in-stock carpet starting around $1.50 per square foot installed, pad included.

Installs are led by lead installer James Lowe, who has worked on Gator floors for more than 20 years, usually alongside Gary. Each install carries a one-year labor warranty. A free in-home measure takes about 20 minutes and comes with a written price, or customers can stop by the showroom first to pick samples. Financing is available, and the team will tear out and haul away old carpet when new carpet goes in.
