BUCHNER'S BIERHALLE

Buchner's Bierhalle is a German bierhalle on the restaurant and bar strip in historic Murray Hill, known for its rare bier and German wurst. The menu also includes fine cheeses and charcuterie boards, sandwiches, imported wines, aperitifs and digestives, with an outdoor biergarten out back.

Reservations are highly recommended for dining and are required on Friday and Saturday nights during Oktoberfest. Parties of nine or more need to call the restaurant directly, and those groups can be billed as one check or up to four equal checks. Extra seating in the biergarten is available on request, and the bierhalle sells gift cards and merchandise. Kitchen hours run shorter than bar hours, and the kitchen is closed on Mondays.
