Jax Beach Golf Club

Jax Beach Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course owned and operated by the City of Jacksonville Beach. The course started as a private 9-hole layout more than 50 years ago and was extensively renovated beginning in January 2018, with a redesign by golf course architect Harrison Minchew. Golfers can book tee times, take part in junior camps and ladies clinics, and practice at the driving range. The club also has a restaurant, Sneakers on the Green, serving breakfast, lunch and snacks, plus a pro shop.

The club hosts private events such as wedding receptions, corporate gatherings and celebrations on its grounds. It sits at 605 Penman Road in South Jacksonville Beach. Golf Digest rated it among the top 30 places to play in Florida, and the course has 4.2 stars across 83 Google reviews. Golfers should check the website for notices about construction on holes 5 and 6, which were slated to close while a water basin project proceeds.
