Jackson County Medical Care Facility

Jackson County Medical Care Facility is a 194-bed skilled nursing home on Lansing Avenue in Jackson, operated under the county's Department of Health & Human Services board. It provides long-term care and short-term rehabilitation, with a full therapy gym, psychological services, and residents who range from people in their thirties to a centenarian. Many residents live with dementia or Alzheimer's, and meals are modified in texture for people who have trouble chewing or swallowing.
