Compassionate Ministries of Jackson County

Compassionate Ministries of Jackson County is a faith-based nonprofit that runs food ministries, including community food pantries and fresh food distribution sites, along with David's Promise, a program for adults with special needs, and the Community Collective, which offers ways to give, serve and connect. It operates as a 501(c)(3) and was established in 2012, becoming independent from First Church of the Nazarene in Jackson, which had earlier started its food pantry.

The ministry works with local churches, schools, businesses and individuals to serve all of Jackson County and is open to volunteers, partners and donors. Its campus at 3737 Clinton Road in Jackson includes the Compassionate Ministries Center, The Storehouse, The Garden, Blessing Barn and Promise Path.
