Child-initiated, project-based early learning for SDSU families6533 Adobe Circle South, Irvine, CA

The SDSU Children's Center is a childcare and early education program serving families, students, faculty and staff of the San Diego State University community. Its curriculum is child-initiated and project based, influenced by the schools of Reggio Emilia and by developmental thinkers such as Piaget, Vygotsky, Erikson and Montessori. Where possible, teachers move up with the same group of children across all five years.
The center is built around full inclusion, welcoming children with and without disabilities into shared activities, with support coordinated among families, practitioners and specialists. It is licensed and is an equal opportunity provider and employer. Families can request a tour or send questions through the center's contact form, and the center also accepts gifts to support its work.
