Star Motors

Star Motors specializes in European vehicles, with service work and a small inventory of pre-owned cars, including classic Mercedes-Benz models. The shop has been around since 1992 and is under new ownership, and it says it works on any make or model. Customers say the team diagnoses problems carefully and gives fair estimates.

A free consultation is available for anyone who notices something unusual about their car, and the staff will give a no-obligation opinion. Customers can stop in for a no-pressure test drive or to talk about selling a special interest car, which the shop can connect with potential buyers. Hours are weekday mornings, with other days by appointment. The shop is located on South Gilbert Court in Iowa City.
