Stain Natural & Carpentry

Stain Natural & Carpentry is a remodeling and carpentry company that specializes in natural deck staining, using Pure Tung Oil and hand-mixed iron oxide pigment stains. The team also offers natural alternatives to composite decking, such as hardwood or premium softwood decking, along with general carpentry, built-ins, custom furniture, pergolas and arbors. Work is done with traditional joinery and, where possible, local and reclaimed wood.

The company works in Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty, and the crew is fully insured. Deck work is sanded rather than pressure washed, and mildew is scrubbed with concentrated vinegar. The shop is at 315 E Benton St in Iowa City, and calls can be made at the listed number.
