Facilities Management, The University of Iowa

Facilities Management takes care of the buildings, grounds and utility systems of the University of Iowa campus. Its five departments cover administration, building and landscape services, business and financial services, design and construction, and utilities, with work that ranges from campus trees and grounds to capital projects and renewable energy.

Most routine requests from campus staff and departments go through the FM@YourService portal, while emergencies are handled by a separate phone line. The main office is in the University Services Building in Iowa City, on the east side of the Iowa River. The department also publishes campus maps, building information and details on public art.
