Big Ten University Towing

Big Ten University Towing is a towing company in Iowa City that handles standard and flatbed tows, accident tows and recovery, winching, unlocks, jump starts, tire changes and gas delivery. Its heavy-duty equipment includes 25 and 50 ton wreckers, a 53-foot Landoll trailer, and medium-duty tows and flatbeds, and it also takes on dump truck work.

Towing runs around the clock, so roadside calls at night and on weekends are covered. The company handles police and private impound retrievals, which require a state-issued photo ID and proof of insurance, and vehicles accrue a daily storage fee. Accident customers can set up an appointment to clean out their vehicle. Calling the office is the best way to ask about private impounds or specialty equipment.
