The Local Radish

The Local Radish is a holistic homemade goods shop that sells artisan-made goods, crystals, herbs, incense, pendulums, tarot and oracle decks, and curated gift boxes. It started as a traveling artist selling handmade earth-stone jewelry and now runs a brick-and-mortar shop at 52nd Street and College Avenue. The shop also carries local art and vintage markets under the RAD name.

The Liminal Space, the shop's space for classes, sits alongside the retail floor. Workshops are in person and centered on urban gardening, herbalism, and art, and the business describes itself as a grassroots shop focused on ethically sourced goods and community education. Weekday hours run from 11 AM to 7 PM, with shorter hours on Sundays, so it is worth checking the calendar before a class.
