Food, household goods and skills training for neighbors in need2500 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN

SVdP Indy, the Indianapolis branch of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, provides basic needs assistance to people in poverty and experiencing homelessness. Its food pantry is among the largest client-choice pantries in the Midwest, and it also offers diapers, clothing, household items, beds and mattresses. Through its Changing Lives Forever program, participants build job and life skills toward economic self-sufficiency.
The Love Your Neighbor Center offers shelter and support, and a home delivery program brings food to people who cannot get to the pantry. Help is offered regardless of race, creed, disability, veteran status or age. Donors can give money, food or goods, and the organization's thrift stores help fund its food pantry. The main office is at 2500 Churchman Avenue on Indianapolis's near-east side.
