About Golf Lizzy Rose

The story

River Ridge Golf Course is a nine-hole course on the Wapsipinicon River, first built in 1906. In recent years more than 100 trees were removed, opening up the layout and improving turf health, and the course has newer greens. Individual lessons, group clinics and outings are offered alongside daily rounds and memberships.

Denali's On The River, a restaurant at the same address, is a stop for food and drinks after a round. Memberships can be bought online, and the course is located at 1749 Golf Course Blvd in Independence, Iowa.
