Idaho K9 Academy Dog Training

Idaho K9 Academy Dog Training runs obedience programs for dogs in Southeast Idaho, with a five-week basic obedience course where the dog is dropped off for a full day each week and owners learn the exercises at the end of each session. Other options include a customizable advanced course, one-hour private lessons, small five-week group classes, a puppy class for dogs 15 weeks to six months old, and an intermediate group class for dogs six months and older.

Private lessons and group classes meet at the training facility, and owners are asked to bring a treat pouch, a six-foot leash, and a 15 to 20-foot line for recall work. Dogs need current DHPP, rabies and bordetella vaccines from a veterinarian. The training center sits next to Snake River Animal Shelter at 3000 Lindsay Blvd in Idaho Falls.
