Huntington Ale House

Huntington Ale House is a locally owned restaurant in downtown Huntington, known for ribs, hand-cut steaks and burgers, and a mac and cheese loaded nine different ways. Its homemade white cheese sauce is the draw for many diners, and Friday and Saturday prime rib, carved from 5pm, sells out quickly. The menu also covers fish and chips, pulled pork sandwiches, grilled chicken salads and a rotating selection of more than 90 beers, with 48 on tap.

There are no reservations, but guests can join the waitlist online before arriving. To-go orders must be placed online for pickup, and DoorDash handles delivery. Lunch specials and happy hour are dine-in only, with happy hour on weekday afternoons and late evenings Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is on the 4th Avenue strip downtown and has an upstairs Upper Room for private parties, along with catering for larger groups.
