Uncle Schmoe

Uncle Schmoe is a handyman and home improvement business that handles a wide range of small household jobs, from furniture assembly and TV mounting to shower retiling, drywall repair and deck carpentry. The owner, Joe, is licensed and insured under Suffolk County home improvement licensing.

Joe can be reached by phone or text during weekday business hours, and questions about whether a project is in scope can be sent through the website contact form or by email. The company also offers closing day packages for new homeowners, where repairs, lock changes and furniture assembly can start the day a home is purchased. The business is closed on federal holidays and follows the Elwood School District calendar, and it is closed for a stretch in late August and early September.
