Jack Berleth & Sons

Jack Berleth & Sons handles plumbing, heating and irrigation work for homes and businesses on Long Island, with a focus on repairs, boiler and water heater installation, and bathroom remodeling. The company started in 1947 when Jack Berleth came from Germany with his two sons, and three generations of the family have run it since. Current leadership is under Steven Kennaugh, who has become known for guiding homeowners through bathroom remodels.

Phone calls go to the office and are answered by a person rather than a machine. Uniformed mechanics drive fully stocked vans for routine calls and wear shoe covers inside the home. Emergency service is available after hours and on weekends, and credit cards are accepted. The company is licensed and insured, and its staff undergo background checks and drug screening. The office is on New York Avenue in Huntington.
