Plant It Forward

Plant It Forward is a nonprofit urban farm in Houston that grows food using regenerative, sustainable, and organic practices. Its farming program trains and supports farmers, many from refugee and underrepresented communities, and is moving toward a cooperative farming model. Its harvest is sold through a Food Hub that serves restaurants, chefs, wholesalers and individuals.

The group runs farmer education and training alongside its growing work, and it partners with funders and local organizations on projects. Neighbors can volunteer, give, or buy produce through the Food Hub, and the farm also holds weekend market visits. The farm is at 4030 Willowbend Boulevard in Houston.
