Pavement

Pavement is a buy, sell and trade shop for new and used clothing, shoes and accessories. Most of the merchandise is hand picked, mixing new pieces, vintage wares and gently used clothing bought directly from the public. Its RePaved line comes from a designer on the tailoring team, who reworks garments that can't be repaired and makes them into small batches of one-of-a-kind pieces.

Neighbors can bring in clothing they no longer wear and take cash or store trade credit without waiting for items to sell. Pavement offers 35% cash or 50% trade of its retail price, and buyers look over freshly laundered items from open to close. The Houston store is on Westheimer Road, and the business also runs two stores in Austin.
