Montessori School of Downtown

Montessori School of Downtown is a Montessori school founded in 1982 that serves children from about six weeks through age 10. Its programs cover infant care, a preschool for ages 3 to 6 with a focus on language, early math and practical life skills, an elementary program for ages 6 to 10 built around hands-on projects, and before and after school care.

The school runs full-day programs and offers extended care from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, which suits working parents. Seasonal programs run during winter, spring and summer breaks. Families can schedule a tour of a campus before enrolling. The Medical Center campus is at 4510 Caroline Street in Houston, and the school operates several other campuses across the Houston area.
