Lotus Seafood serves boiled and fried seafood with bold, spicy seasoning, and it is best known for its Crack Sauce, a garlicky, buttery blend that diners pour over nearly everything. Shrimp, fish and crawfish are the core of the menu, which also includes crispy chicken wings, rice and noodle dishes, and po-boys stuffed with fried seafood on French bread.

The Kirkwood location is one of five Lotus Seafood restaurants in the Houston area, and the recipes are the same at each one. Orders can be placed online, and party trays are available for groups. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, and it stays open later on Friday and Saturday nights.
