Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership

The Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, known as BAHEP, is a member-driven economic development organization for Southeast Texas. It works with businesses looking to expand or relocate to the region, advocates for regional priorities at the local, state and federal levels, and runs workforce efforts with local schools and colleges. Its focus includes industries such as aerospace, maritime and specialty chemicals.

Businesses considering a move to the area can request confidential help with site selection, workforce questions and incentives. Membership is open to companies, local governments and educational institutions, and the organization hosts committees, events and a regional hiring page. Its offices are in Clear Lake, near NASA Johnson Space Center, at 1150 Gemini St. in Houston.
