Berkshire Pulse

Berkshire Pulse is a nonprofit dance and performing arts education center offering classes in dance, music, movement and theatre for youth, teens and adults. Its programs include a Youth Performing Arts Program, adult and teen community classes, workshops and summer programs, school programs, a Young Choreographers Program and an Adaptive Dance Program, along with rentals and artist residencies.

The center operates out of a historic mill building beside the Housatonic River in downtown Housatonic, and it serves more than 700 people a year at its studios. Tuition assistance is available, and the center says no student has been turned away for an inability to pay. Office hours are weekdays during the day, and the studios can be reached by phone or email.
