Durney Insurance Inc. is an independent insurance agency that places personal and business coverage through a range of carriers. The agency offers Medicare drug plans and supplements, health and group health plans, auto, homeowners and RV policies, and business coverage such as commercial auto, general liability, professional liability, errors and omissions, and directors and officers insurance.

The agency works with several carriers, which lets its agents compare options across companies and sometimes build policies no single insurer offers. Its agents have more than 75 years of combined experience. The Hoquiam office is on 8th Street, and clients in Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada and Oregon are served as well as those in Washington. Office hours are Monday through Thursday and a shorter Friday schedule.
