Med1Care

Med1Care is a home health care company that sends nurses, therapists, and home health aides into homes across 26 Ohio counties. It is a Medicare and Medicaid certified agency and also runs a medical staffing division that places nurses, STNAs, and aides in hospitals, physicians' offices, and long-term care facilities. Services include help with bathing, dressing, meals, and medication, wound care, IV therapy, and injections.

Care begins with a plan from the patient's doctor, and therapists treat at home or at outpatient clinics in Toledo and Findlay. Phones are answered around the clock by a Med1Care person, and private duty care is available for those who prefer to pay directly. The main office is on Corporate Drive in Holland, near Toledo, with a second office on South Main Street in Findlay and a Lambertville, Michigan office planned.
