Meating Place PDX

The Meating Place is a butcher shop and meat processor on NW Cornelius Pass Road in Hillsboro. It cuts, smokes and ages its own meat, including sausages, bacon, jerky, lunchmeat and pepperoni, and sells Meating Right beef raised on its own farm operation in Forest Grove. The business also does wild game processing, mobile processing, wholesale meat and copacking.

Customers can shop the case at the butcher shop, open Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday mornings, and closed Mondays. Custom orders, holiday orders and catering are arranged through the contact form or by phone, with replies within two business days. A separate Meating Place Café at a second address on the same road serves sandwiches, burgers and breakfast burritos made with the shop's house-made meats, and gift cards work at both.
