SolQ

SolQ is a solar installer that designs and installs residential and commercial solar systems, and also offers maintenance and upgrades for existing systems. Its work covers the whole process from first consultation through permits, installation and activation with the utility, and the company says it handles those steps for the customer.

A free consultation and on-site survey come first, with a solar adviser sizing a system to the home's power bill. Installations include a 25-year manufacturer warranty and a 10-year workmanship warranty, and most average-sized systems are finished in a day. The office is in Hills, Iowa, and the company's project list includes installs across eastern Iowa and Illinois.
