Roses Discount Stores

Roses Discount Stores is a discount retailer selling name-brand clothing, food and beverages, everyday essentials, home goods, seasonal items, toys and electronics, pet supplies, and automotive and hardware products. Much of the stock is closeout merchandise, so what's on the shelves changes as deals come and go. Roses is a brand of Variety Wholesalers, Inc., which also runs Big Lots and other discount banners.

Shoppers can sign up for the weekly ad and early access to deals by email, and follow the chain on social media for new closeouts. Select items can be taken home on a lease-to-own plan through Progressive Leasing, which costs more than the cash price. The Henderson, North Carolina address is the company's headquarters, and the stores are spread across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.
