Joe’s Mercantile

Joe's Mercantile is a boutique selling women's and men's clothing, quirky gifts, bath and body products, and home decor. The shelves include jeans, midi dresses, and items from over 30 local makers and authors, and the shop also sells plants.

The business has been family owned since 1937 and was known as Joseph's Department Store before moving into a smaller building on North Washington Street in 2024 and rebranding. The staff offer personal service, and the store is open seven days a week with evening hours until 7 or 8 PM. It sits just off I-95 in Havre de Grace, an easy stop for shopping outside the mall.
