The Agency, Inc. is an independent insurance agency that places business and personal coverage with multiple carriers. Because it isn't tied to one insurer, the agents shop commercial and personal policies across companies to find coverage and pricing that fit each client. Commercial lines include business owners policies, commercial auto and workers compensation, while personal lines cover homeowners (including storm and wind), auto, flood, boat, umbrella, renters and life insurance.

The agency has been serving Hattiesburg families and businesses since 2008 and offers free quotes. Three licensed agents work from its office on Hardy Street, and the team says a real person answers the phone. Coverage is available across Mississippi, and the agents also help with claims.
