NOOL Counseling

NOOL Counseling Center is a counseling practice that works with children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples and families. Its approach centers on cognitive behavioral therapy, with trauma-focused CBT and EMDR for posttraumatic stress, and play therapy for young children. The practice also offers maternal and perinatal counseling for mothers dealing with depression, anxiety or stress related to parenthood, pregnancy and postpartum life.

Sessions are offered at the downtown Hattiesburg office on West Laurel Avenue, which has a kid-friendly waiting area, therapy rooms and a therapeutic playroom. The team works to pair each client or child with a suitable counselor and tries to fit appointments around busy family schedules. The practice accepts most insurance plans.
