Spotted Dog

Spotted Dog is a home improvement and handyman business run by owner Peter Crocker, who has worked on homes on the North Shore and in Essex County for about 25 years. Common jobs include bathroom and kitchen remodels, moldings, wainscoting, beadboard ceilings, wood and tile flooring, cabinetry, and deck repair and replacement. Peter also builds shaker and industrial-influenced furniture and has worked for several architects in New England.

The business is fully insured and offers free estimates, with a visit to review the project before a written estimate and contract. Smaller jobs under $1,000 are paid in full at completion, while larger projects are paid in thirds. Extra materials, travel and disposal are billed separately, with a one-hour minimum and half-hour increments after that. The shop is based at 12 Porter Lane in Hamilton.
