Williamsville Wellness is a residential addiction treatment center on a 400-acre property in Hanover, just north of Richmond. It treats alcohol, drug and gambling addiction, along with co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, and runs a separate residential program for military veterans.
The center has 14 beds and says it provides eight to ten one-on-one therapy sessions a week, with a 1:1 staff-to-patient ratio. Residential programs are for adults 18 and over, and families can take part in family therapy by phone, though in-person visits are not offered. Virtual intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs are open to Virginia residents only. The center is not a medical detox facility, and it is in network with several major commercial insurers but does not accept Medicare or Medicaid. Transportation assistance is available from Richmond International Airport.
