Guilty Bakery

Guilty Bakery is a scratch bakery known for French macarons, whoopie pies, cupcakes, decorated cookies and wedding cakes. The menu changes with the seasons and the bakers' whims, so flavors rotate from week to week. Amy and Krista started the business in 2012 after working together at a Hingham catering company, and they spent about ten years in downtown Plymouth before moving to Hanover.

All production happens in the Hanover kitchen, which also has a storefront open for walk-in visits and a tasting room used for wedding bookings. Custom orders and cake pre-orders go through email at treats@guiltybakery.com. A second shop opened in Mashpee Commons in August 2022, stocked with the most popular items. Hanover hours change for fall, with the storefront open Wednesday through Saturday and a shorter Sunday schedule.
