Mountain View Animal Emergency

Mountain View Animal Emergency is an emergency veterinary hospital that cares for dogs and cats. Its doctors and support staff handle critical and hospitalized patients, and the practice added an advanced surgical department in 2025 led by a board-eligible veterinary surgeon. Diagnostic imaging and in-house laboratory testing are also available.

Call ahead before coming in, since walk-ins are not accepted and the staff can say whether they can see your pet at your planned arrival time. Cases are seen by severity, so waits can run long at busy times. The hospital is open 10am to 2am, seven days a week, at its stand-alone building on Crayton Blvd in north Hagerstown. Payment is due when services are rendered, and cards, CareCredit, Scratchpay, checks and cash are accepted.
